About Carly Ringenberg Ceramics

My name is Carly, the hobby potter behind Carly Ringenberg Ceramics.

I am originally from a small town in the foothills of the Appalachia in Ohio, and moved to Humboldt County in 2016. I have been throwing pottery since 2018 and started selling in 2020.

My work tends to be inspired by the natural environment that surrounds me here in coastal Northern California; from the sea life to the towering redwoods.

I create all of my pieces on my potter's wheel at my home studio using mostly stoneware clay. I then transport my bone dry creations to a community studio here in Humboldt County for its bisque firing. I also use their glazes they have available to members and students. And then my work is fired again at △ 10 in one of the gas kilns available at their location.
